Were you under the influence of something when you wrote this? What a hot histrionic mess.

Love this piece. It's been in my 'get around to it' file forever, and I'm glad I finally did.

So bizarre, the bile from the one prior commentator. Glad you batted it back.

America needs many, many more Keris, especially among our 'spokespeople' set. If we had a Keri or two in Don Lemon's and Brian Stelter's slots, we'd be a happier, healthier, more rosy-futured people. (All right, we'd need more than one or two, but you get the idea.)

I do hope, though, that you've come around on Ukraine. There has been no clearer image of raw evil in my lifetime (and I'm older than I wish I was!) than what Putin has been doing there. Please do follow Jay Nordlinger's posts on it, they're both heartbreaking and eye-opening. And do make sure you know your history -- know your Churchill, and know 1938 and 1939. Santayana was right about history, it does repeat itself, because human nature remains human nature.

Those who oppose our helping the Ukranians are doing it because they are (justifiably) angry at the legacy media for their relentless dishonesty and unfairness; those same media figures are now supporting Ukraine (God alone knows why, as they're pretty much always wrong on everything -- but even a stopped clock...), so some people, out of anger -- let's call it spite -- are utterly uncaring vis-a-vis Ukraine.

They hate our horrible media establishment, so as revenge, they are spiting dead grandmothers on the streets of Bucha.

Anyhow, enough of that. Keri Smith is great. Here's to her.
