You really test me with essays like this, Keri. I find I want to believe God does and doesn’t exist at the same time. Specifically, I want to believe he tries to discipline me and steer me back to the path, but I don’t want believing in him to be the price. Sounds completely illogical when I state it plainly, but it’s ironclad in me nonetheless.
